Your dress is one of the most important and personal purchases you will make during your wedding planning process. Wouldn’t it be extra special if you could pay it forward somehow?
That’s what The White Dress Movement is all about.
What is The White Dress Movement?
The White Dress Movement is a not-for-profit arm to The Wedding Wanderer, where brides can donate their dresses and give back in a way that is unique, meaningful and special. We partner with selected charities that resonate with our vision and values, so that when your dress is resold, you can choose which charity partner will receive the proceeds. A portion of the fees from our Marry Me, Style Me and Plan Me services also goes into The White Dress Movement, so simply selecting The Wedding Wander for your special day is the start of paying it forward.
How does it work?
When your wedding dress is sold through The White Dress Movement it will be accompanied by your love story, an image from your special day (if you wish), and why you wanted to pay it forward. Each bride who so generously donates their wedding gown will receive life-long membership, and become an ambassador for The White Dress Movement.
All dresses will be available for purchase via our online store, and hopefully soon in a bricks and mortar bridal boutique that offers the complete “say yes to the dress” experience.
